reading is sexy

what is everyone reading at the moment?

I recently had a three night stand with "the bronze horseman" - by paullina simons and have just started reading through her follow up book, "the bridge to holy cross".

I delayed start on the second book because I was afraid it was going to take over my life like the first did. A must read though.

The two books are about the invasion of russia by the germans, a couple in love and communisim vs america. If you get round to reading them, let me know if you liked them as much as I did.

xx

  3. I love pictures of books.... slightly off topic but still contains the word 'books', which counts right?

I'm reading Brief Interviews With Hideous Men by David Foster Wallace, which I just found out yesterday has been made into a movie. Not sure how, because the book is effing fantastic (and slightly disturbing)!

  4. I'm still reading Nick Cave's and the ass saw the angel, it's almost finished
I'd highly recommend it if you like Nick's style of music as well

I found it in a lovely bookstore/cafe in Brisbane,
which makes it even nicer to read it

  6. Maarten- I finished that not long ago. Excellent book. And very easy to read. Um Holding the Man by Timothy Conigrave is a really great book! Albeit a little 'graphic' mind you.

Also Picnic at Hanging Rock is very very good. Im loving Australian authors at the moment!
